Julie Lorien is an Indie, Pop/Country singer-songwriter from Slovenia. She dedicated her life to music already at younger age, carving her path and building a career she always dreamed of. While starting out as a klarinetist when studying music education at University of Maribor, she quickly got interested into singing and playing guitar. While this led her to reshaping of her own musical style, she developed strong interest towards Pop-Rock and Country music. In 2015 Julie started working with musician and producer Tilen Lorien from Homeland Production. Since then they've co-wrote and produced a lot of music, but most importantly, together they've set the tone and the vision of what is coming next.

On 1st of July 2020 Julie released her debut single "Sanje” for which the official video was recorded at the beautiful place in south England, Seven sisters cliffs. “We wanted to create something very special, atmospheric, gentle and dreamy with a Pop/Country feel. Seven Sisters Cliffs was the perfect place for the song.” The song carries the meaning of love, courage, and commitment, towards your own dreams and life desires. We often close down on our self and seek for the answers outside, instead of searching them on the inside of our self.
In the beginning of 2021 Julie released her second single “Loviva se”, which was co-written with Musician/Producer Tilen Sapac and Tinkara Kovač, who is a long known established and successful artist from Slovenia, also known by her appearance at Eurovision 2012, with the song “Round and round”. Julie has also been a member of Tinkara's Kovač band since 2019.
On 3rd of November 2022 Julie released 3rd single 'Home To You'. A ballad fragile as a rose and deep as the true love. It's a very dreamy song, musically built from vocal and guitar at the beginning to a symphony towards the end. It's like a relationship between two lovers. It doesn't happen because of the love you had in the beginning, but how well you continue building on love.
In the mean time of 2024 Julie and producer Tilen Sapač decided to add an EP to the process. An EP of 7-8 songs which were the pin point and big inspiration behind Julie's musical style and production on the original songs. "Into the Light" EP is gonna be a Tribute to a few artists that made a big impact on us as musicians and how we approach the production behind the songs. 'Into the Light' is gonna be released on a CD in 2025. Two singles from the EP were already been released: 'Parallel Line' and 'The Bluest Eyes in Texas'.
